Hello

I'm a storyteller and artist, who's always been interested in comics, books and animation. As a young child I read Asterix and Cleopatra which had a huge impact on me. I started cartooning one summer holiday when I was 12, and have been drawing ever since. I believe the world needs more good stories, because good stories are vital for us to flourish.

I've storyboarded, directed and animated short films for production companies, drawn cartoons for publishers, and now write and illustrate my own stories. I also research storytelling and how that intersects with learning.

I love visual storytelling and am inspired by the comic-dynamic style of Franco-Belgian comics like Asterix, as well as the animation of Chuck Jones and the artistry of Calvin and Hobbes.

I live in Bedfordshire, UK, with my wife and two children, a growing pile of comic books and a substantial amount of Lego.
